Ghaafer 9 of 9
It is God Who has created cattle for you to ride and to consume as food. 79 you have other benefits in them too. You can reach any destination you wish on them: they carry you by land, as ships carry you on the sea. 80 He shows you His signs. Now which of the signs of Allah do you disbelieve? 81 Have they not traveled through the land and observed how was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than themselves and greater in strength and in impression on the land, but they were not availed by what they used to earn. 82 And when their messengers brought them clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty) they exulted in the knowledge they (themselves) possessed. And that which they were wont to mock befell them. 83 When they saw Our chastisement, they said: “We have come to believe in Allah, the Only One, and we reject all what we had associated (with Allah in His Divinity).” 84 But their believing after they had seen Our chastisement did not avail them. That has been Allah's Way concerning His servants. And the unbelievers courted utter loss, then and there. 85
God the Almighty always says the truth.
