You who believe, seek help through patience and prayer; surely, God is with the steadfast. 153 And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: dead. Nay, they are living, but ye perceive not. 154 And surely We shall try you with something of fear and hunger, and loss of wealth and lives and crops; but give glad tidings to the steadfast, 155 who, when they are visited by an affliction, say, 'Surely we belong to God, and to Him we return'; 156 Their Lord will bestow great blessings and mercy upon them; such are the people who are rightly guided. 157 ۞ Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing. 158 Those who conceal the clear (Signs) We have sent down, and the Guidance, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book,-on them shall be Allah's curse, and the curse of those entitled to curse,- 159 Excepted, however, shall be they that repent, and put themselves to rights, and make known the truth: and it is they whose repentance I shall accept - for I alone am the Acceptor of Repentance, the Dispenser of Grace. 160 Those who reject Faith, and die rejecting,- on them is Allah's curse, and the curse of angels, and of all mankind; 161 They will live condemned forever, will have no relief from the torment, and no attention will be paid to them. 162 And the God of you all is one God; there is no God but He, the Compassionate, the Merciful. 163
