Al-Hijjr 4 of 6
The pious will live in gardens with streams 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Inform My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' but he replied: 'We are afraid of you' 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 He added: "What is your errand O sent ones?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 but his wife. We decreed that she should be amongst those who remain behind. 60

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
