Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Do you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of the Creators? 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and, verily, [to this day] you pass by the remnants of their dwellings at morning-time 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
