And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 (They) belied all Our Signs, so We seized them with a Seizure of the All-Mighty, All-Capable to carry out what he Will (Omnipotent). 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: “We are a strong legion, strong enough for victory?” 44 Their multitude will be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 In fact their promise is upon the Last Day – and the Last Day is very severe and very bitter! 46 Lo! the guilty are in error and madness. 47 On the day when they shall be dragged upon their faces into the fire; taste the touch of hell. 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And We destroyed those like you, is there any that will remember! 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in gardens and rivers, 54 Seated in an assembly of the Truth, in the presence of Allah, the Omnipotent King. 55
