Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And that which ye see not. 39 Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Apostle, 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 and cut-off his main artery. 46 and not one of you would have been able to withhold Us from doing so. 47 And indeed this Qur’an is an advice for the pious. 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And verily it shall be an occasion of anguish unto the infidels. 50 And indeed it is a certain Truth. 51 So exalt the name of your Lord, the Most Great. 52
