The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Indeed, there came upon the human a period of time when he was an unremembered thing. 1 Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing. 2 Verily We! We shewed him the way; then he becometh either thankful or ingrate. 3 We have prepared for unbelievers chains and collars and a blazing fire. 4 Indeed the virtuous will drink from a cup, containing a mixture of Kafoor. 5 From a fountain whence the bondmen of Allah will drink, causing it to gush abundantly. 6 They (are those who) fulfill (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading. 7 And feed with food the needy wretch, the orphan and the prisoner, for love of Him, 8 (saying): “We feed you only for Allah's sake; we do not seek of you any recompense or thanks, 9 for we fear from our Lord a frowning day, inauspicious. 10 But Allah will deliver them from the evil of that Day, and will shed over them a Light of Beauty and (blissful) Joy. 11 and their reward for being patient will be a Garden and silk [clothing]. 12 Reclining therein upon couches, they will find there neither (heat of) a sun nor bitter cold. 13 The shade thereof is close upon them and the clustered fruits thereof bow down. 14 Passed round will be silver flagons and goblets made of glass, 15 Glass made from silver, which the servers have filled up to the measure. 16 And they will be given to drink there a cup (of wine) mixed with Zanjabil (ginger, etc.), 17 from a flowing spring called Salsabil. 18 ۞ And there shall go round unto them youths ever-young. When thou seest them thou wouldst deem them pearls unstrung. 19 and when thou seest [anything that is] there thou wilt see [only] bliss and a realm transcendent 20 Upon them shall be green garments of silk and brocade; they are adorned with bracelets of silver, and their Lord shall give them to drink a pure draught. 21 [And it will be said], "Indeed, this is for you a reward, and your effort has been appreciated." 22

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
