O ye who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and die not except in a state of Islam. 102 All of you united hold fast to the rope of God (the Quran and His Messenger), and recall how He favored you when your hostility to each other had torn you apart. He united your hearts in one faith and through His Grace you became brothers. You were on the verge of falling headlong into the abyss of fire, but God saved you. This is how God explains to you His revelations so that you may have the right guidance. 103 Let there be one nation of you that shall call to righteousness, ordering honor, and forbidding dishonor. Those are the prosperous. 104 Do not follow the example of those who became divided and differed with one another after clear proofs had come to them. For those, there is a great punishment. 105 On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject." 106 And as for those whose faces shall have become whitened-they shall be in Allah's mercy; therein they shall be abiders. 107 These are the verses of Allah. We recite them to you, [O Muhammad], in truth; and Allah wants no injustice to the worlds. 108 To God belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth and to Him do all things return. 109
