Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Verily their Lord on that Day will be of them Aware. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
