The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 surely, your God is One, 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 With a driving fusillade, and theirs shall be a torment perpetual; 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital. 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21
