The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 Surely, on that Day, they will know that their Lord had full knowledge of them all. 11
