And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure. 82 But they were seized by the mighty blast towards the morning; 83 And all that they had done (for security) availed them nothing. 84 AND [remember:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them without [an inner] truth; but, behold, the Hour [when this will become clear to all] is indeed yet to come. Hence, forgive [men's failings] with fair forbearance: 85 Verily, your Lord is the All-Knowing Creator. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers. 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 [For, thou art the bearer of a divine writ] such as We have bestowed from on high upon those who [afterwards] broke it up into parts, 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 for whatever they have done! 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 We suffice you against those who mock, 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 But celebrate the praises of thy Lord, and be of those who prostrate themselves in adoration. 98 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death). 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
