۞ By inspiration we told Moses: "Travel by night with my servants; for surely ye shall be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent gatherers to the cities. 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And treasures and a fair estate. 58 Thus it was; and We made the children of Israel possess them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Said he, 'No indeed; surely my Lord is with me; He will guide me.' 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 68
