۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Even so. And We gave them as a heritage to the children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses said, "Certainly not. My Lord is with me and He will certainly guide me." 62 Then We inspired Moses, saying: Smite the sea with thy staff. And it parted, and each part was as a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
