We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 save him who may eavesdrop, and then a bright flame pursues him. 18 We have spread out the earth, fixed mountains thereupon and caused everything to grow to its proper weight 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Assuredly it is thy Lord Who will gather them together: for He is perfect in Wisdom and Knowledge. 25
