And certainly did the companions of Thamud deny the messengers. 80 We also gave them Our Signs, yet they turned away from them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure. 82 An explosion struck them in the morning. 83 And of no avail to them was all that they did (with such art and care)! 84 We did not create the heavens and the earth, and what is between them except in truth. The Hour is sure to come, therefore, forgive them with a gracious pardon. 85 Surely your Lord is the All Knowing Creator! 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Stretch not thine eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy; and do not sorrow for them, and lower thy wing unto the believers, 88 And say: Lo! I, even I, am a plain warner, 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 [and] who [now] declare this Qur'an to be [a tissue of] falsehoods! 91 By your Lord, We will question them all 92 for whatever they have done! 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 Indeed We suffice you against these mockers. 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death). 99
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
