In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not sent down to you the Qur'an that you be distressed 2 But only as a Reminder to those who fear (Allah). 3 A down-sent from Him who Created the earth and the heavens high. 4 The Beneficent Allah is firm in power. 5 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and what is between them two and what is beneath the ground. 6 If you speak loudly; He has indeed knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 Hath there come unto thee the story of Moses? 9 When he saw a fire, he said to his family: 'Stay here, for I can see a fire. Perhaps I can bring you a lighted torch or find at the fire guidance' 10 When he reached it, he was called: 'O Moses, 11 "Verily! I am your Lord! So take off your shoes, you are in the sacred valley, Tuwa. 12 "And I have chosen you. So listen to that which is inspired to you. 13 Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance. 14 "Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. 15 So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish. 16 And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?" 17 He said: This is my staff whereon I lean, and wherewith I bear down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses. 18 He said, “Put it down, O Moosa! 19 So he threw it down, and lo, it became a running serpent. 20 [Allah] said, "Seize it and fear not; We will return it to its former condition. 21 Now, put your hand under your armpit. It shall come out white, without evil, a second sign. 22 for We shall show you some of Our greatest Signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' 24
