۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 and they have enraged us, 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 We therefore got them out from the gardens and water springs. 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 In this [story] behold, there is a message [unto all men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
