Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
(As for) those who disbelieve and turn away from Allah's way, He shall render their works ineffective. 1 But those who believe and do righteous deeds and believe in what is sent down to Muhammad -- and it is the truth from their Lord -- He will acquit them of their evil deeds, and dispose their minds aright. 2 That is because those who refuse to believe only follow what is false; but those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. That is how God gives men precepts of wisdom. 3 Now when ye meet those who disbelieve, smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly, then make fast the bonds; then, thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom, until the war layeth down the burthens thereof. That ye shall do. And had Allah willed, He would have vindicated Himself against them, but He ordained fighting in order that He may prove you one by the other. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall not send their works astray. 4 He will guide them and set their condition right 5 And He will admit them into Paradise – they have been made familiar with it. 6 O you who have attained to faith! If you help [the cause of] God, He will help you, and will make firm your steps; 7 But the unbelievers shall be the destroyed losers. He will bring their deeds to nothing. 8 That is because they detest that which Allah hath sent down, and so He shall make of non-effect their works. 9 ۞ Do they not travel through the earth, and see what was the End of those before them (who did evil)? Allah brought utter destruction on them, and similar (fates await) those who reject Allah. 10 That is because Allah is the patron of those who believe, and because the infidels! no patron is theirs. 11
