Al-Qalam 2 of 2
Surely for the godfearing shall be Gardens of Bliss with their Lord. 34 Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals? 35 What is amiss with you? On what do you base your judgment [of right and wrong]? 36 Or have you a Book through which you learn. 37 That therein is yours that which ye may choose? 38 Or have you taken a binding promise from Us which would hold till the Day of Judgement, that you will get whatever you demand? 39 Ask them which of them is able to vouch for this! 40 Or have they some "Partners" (in Allahhead)? Then let them produce their "partners", if they are truthful! 41 On the day when it befalleth in earnest, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves but are not able, 42 Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe. 43 So leave Me and him who rejects this announcement; We will overtake them by degrees, from whence they perceive not: 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 Or are you asking them for some compensation so that they feel burdened with debt? 46 Or that they possess the hidden, so they are writing it? 47 So wait with patience for the judgement of your Lord, and do not be like (Jonah) of the fish who called (to his Lord) when he was choked with anger. 48 Had it not been that favour from his Lord had reached him he surely had been cast into the wilderness while he was reprobate. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!" 51 But it is nothing other than a Reminder for all the worlds. 52

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
