The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the racers, panting, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And the secrets of the hearts exposed, 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
