On the day when We call every nation with their leaders, those whose record of deeds are given to their right hands will read the book and the least wrong will not be done to them. 71 And whosoever hath been in this life blind will in the Hereafter be blind, and far astray from the way. 72 And their purpose was to tempt thee away from that which We had revealed unto thee, to substitute in our name something quite different; (in that case), behold! they would certainly have made thee (their) friend! 73 And if We had not made thee wholly firm thou mightest almost have inclined unto them a little. 74 then We would have let you taste the double of life and death; and you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 They very nearly provoked you to drive you out of the land, but they would have only lingered for a little while after you. 76 This has been Our way with the apostles whom We sent before you. You will not find any variation in Our line of action. 77
