The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you will destroy yourself with grief because they will not believe. 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 And there does not come to them a new reminder from the Beneficent Allah but they turn aside from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Verily, in this is an Ayah (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans, etc., who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
