"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.' 46 And We shall purge their breasts of all traces of rancour; and they shall be seated on couches facing one another as brothers. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. 52 They said, “Do not fear – we convey to you the glad tidings of a knowledgeable boy.” 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
