Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 that you (Muhammad) are a Messenger 3 On a straight path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 [bestowed upon thee] so that thou mayest warn people whose forefathers had not been warned, and who therefore are unaware [of the meaning of right and wrong]. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 Lo! We it is Who bring the dead to life. We record that which they send before (them, and their footprints. And all things We have kept in a clear Register. 12
