The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 And striking off fire by dashing their hoofs. 2 And raiding at dawn 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 surely, man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And verily to that he is witness. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ So does he not know? When those in the graves are raised, 9 and the secrets of the hearts are laid bare (and examined)? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
