The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 upon that day she shall tell her tidings 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 So. he who has done an atom's weight of good shall see it 7 and he who shall have done an atom's weight of evil, shall behold it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
