The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
By the snorting, panting horses, 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 And the chargers at dawn, 3 and leave behind a cloud of dust 4 cleaving there with a host! 5 Lo! man is an ingrate unto his Lord 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
