Allah produceth creation, then He reproduceth it, then unto Him ye will be returned. 11 And on the day whereon the Hour arriveth, dumb-struck will be the culprits. 12 for they will have no intercessors in the beings to whom they were wont to ascribe a share in God's divinity, seeing that [by then] they themselves will have ceased to believe in their erstwhile blasphemous fancies. 13 On the Day whereon the Hour arriveth, that Day they shall be separated. 14 Then as to those who believed and did good, they shall be made happy in a garden. 15 but those who disbelieved and belied Our verses and the meeting of the Everlasting Life, shall be arraigned for punishment. 16 So glory be to God both in your evening hour and in your morning hour. 17 His is the praise in the heavens and earth, alike at the setting sun and in your noontide hour. 18 It is He Who brings out the living from the dead, and brings out the dead from the living, and Who gives life to the earth after it is dead: and thus shall ye be brought out (from the dead). 19

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
