▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,- 75 And indeed, it is an oath - if you could know - [most] great. 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 In Book well-guarded, 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 What, do you hold this discourse in disdain, 81 And to give (it) the lie you make your means of subsistence. 82 Why, then, when the soul leaps up to the throat, 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 Can you not bring him back? (Answer) if you are truthful 87 Then if he be of the broughtnigh. 88 Then breath of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 89 And if he is of those on the right, – 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 And roasting at hell-fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
