And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
