The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 And the promised day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Lo! those who believe and do good works, theirs will be Gardens underneath which rivers flow. That is the Great Success. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter) (or originates the creation of everything, and then repeats it on the Day of Resurrection). 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Loving, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Always doing whatever He wills. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 And Allah, all unseen, surroundeth them. 20 Nay, but it is a glorious Qur'an. 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
