It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And the earth -- We stretched it forth, and cast on it firm mountains, and We caused to grow therein of every thing justly weighed, 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
