Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And is intractable in his love of worldly goods. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
