Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 the stars are dispersed, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 who created thee and shaped thee and wrought thee in symmetry 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Even then you deny the Judgement. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 noble recorders, 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again, what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 18 A day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the Command shall belong unto God. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
