The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 And by the Day promised, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 Witnessing what they had done to the believers! 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Whose is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness of all things. 9 Verily, those who put into trial the believing men and believing women (by torturing them and burning them), and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire. 10 (But) for those who believe and do good works, for them there are Gardens underneath which rivers flow that is the Great Victory! 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 It is He Who creates from the very beginning, and He can restore (life). 13 And He only is the Oft Forgiving, the Beloved of His bondmen. 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Yet the unbelievers still belie, 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
