Indeed, for the righteous with their Lord are the Gardens of Pleasure. 34 What! Shall We treat those who have submitted (to Our command) like those who have acted as criminals? 35 What is [the matter] with you? How do you judge? 36 Or have ye a book through which ye learn- 37 That therein is yours that which ye may choose? 38 Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment, that yours shall be all that ye ordain? 39 Ask them: “Which of them can guarantee that? 40 Or have they "partners"? Then let them bring their "partners" if they are truthful! 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Their looks cast down, abasement shall overtake them; and they were called upon to make obeisance indeed while yet they were safe. 43 Leave Me (to deal) with those who give the lie to this pronouncement. We shall lead them on by steps from whence they know not. 44 And I will grant them a respite. Verily, My Plan is strong. 45 Do you ask for any compensation from them that they are burdened with want? 46 Do they possess the knowledge of the unseen which confirms the truthfulness of their belief? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 But his Lord had chosen him, and He placed him among the righteous. 50 And those who disbelieve would almost smite you with their eyes when they hear the reminder, and they say: Most surely he is mad. 51 although this is nothing but an Exhortation (to goodness) for everyone in the world. 52
