The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Calamity! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what will explain to thee what the (Day) of Noise and Clamour is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for him whose scales are light, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A flaming fire! 11
