And [thereafter,] indeed, We assigned unto the children of Israel a most goodly abode, and provided for them sustenance out of the good things of life. And it was not until knowledge [of God's revelation] was vouchsafed to them that they began to hold divergent views: [but,] verily, thy Sustainer will judge between them on Resurrection Day regarding all on which they were wont to differ. 93 So if you are in doubt, [O Muhammad], about that which We have revealed to you, then ask those who have been reading the Scripture before you. The truth has certainly come to you from your Lord, so never be among the doubters. 94 And never be of those who deny the signs of Allah and [thus] be among the losers. 95 Indeed those for whom the Word of your Lord has proved true, will not believe. 96 Even if every sign comes to them, until they witness the painful punishment. 97 Why was there no other people, save the people of Jonah, who should have believed so that their belief would have benefited them. Once they believed, We lifted the torment of shame from them during their worldly life and let them enjoy Our provision for a while. 98 If your Lord had willed, all the people on the earth would have come to believe, one and all. 99 And it is not for a soul to believe except by Allah's permission; and He casts uncleanness on those who will not understand. 100 Proclaim, “Observe what is in the heavens and the earth”; and the signs and the Noble Messengers do not benefit the people who are not destined to believe. 101 Do they watch and wait for anything except for days similar to those who passed away before them? Say: 'Wait; I shall be with you among those who are waiting' 102 Then We shall save Our Noble Messengers and the believers – this is it; it is incumbent upon Our mercy to save the Muslims. 103
