We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And lo! Elias was of those sent (to warn), 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 “What! You worship Baal (an idol) and leave the Best Creator?” – 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
