Therefor warn (men, O Muhammad). By the grace of Allah thou art neither soothsayer nor madman. 29 Or do they say [of you], "A poet for whom we await a misfortune of time?" 30 Say: 'Await! I shall be awaiting with you.' 31 Or do their minds command them to [say] this, or are they a transgressing people? 32 Or do they say: "He has fabricated it?" In fact, they will never believe. 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth! 34 Or were they created by nothing, or were they the creators [of themselves]? 35 [And] have they created the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they have no certainty of anything! 36 Or are with them the treasures of your Lord? Or are they the tyrants with the authority to do as they like? 37 Or, do they have a ladder on which they listen? Then let any of them that has listened bring a clear authority. 38 Do the daughters belong to Him and the sons to you? 39 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 40 Do they have knowledge of the unseen, thus, are able to predict (the future)? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Or do they have a God besides Allah? Purity is to Allah from their ascribing of partners to Him. 43 AND YET, if they [who refuse to see the truth] were to see part of the sky falling down, they would [only] say: "[It is but] a mass of clouds!" 44 So leave them until they meet their Day in which they will be struck insensible - 45 A day on which their scheming will not benefit them at all, nor will they be helped. 46 Truly, for those who do wrong there is a punishment besides that, though most of them do not know it. 47 And be patient under the Judgement of your Lord, surely, you are before Our Eyes. And exalt with the praise of your Lord when you arise, 48 And for part of the night also praise thou Him,- and at the retreat of the stars! 49
