Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They belied Our signs everyone thereof; whereof We laid hold of them with the grip of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 Are your infidels better than these? Or is there an immunity for you in the Writs? 43 Or they say, “We shall all take revenge as a group.” 44 Soon will their multitude be put to flight, and they will show their backs. 45 Aye! the Hour is their appointed term, and the Hour shall be far more grievous and far more bitter. 46 for, behold, those who are lost in sin [will at that time come to know that it is they who] were sunk in error and folly! 47 when they will be dragged on their faces into the fire and will be told, "Feel the touch of hell". 48 Verily, all things have We created in proportion and measure. 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 All their deeds are in the Scrolls, 52 everything large or small, is duly inscribed. 53 Verily, The Muttaqun (pious), will be in the midst of Gardens and Rivers (Paradise). 54 In a good seat, near a Sovereign Omnipotent. 55
