The human being says, "Shall I be brought to life again after I will die?" 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children). 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 Never. They will deny their devotion and become their adversaries. 82
