Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 when the seas overflow; 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 every human being will [at last] comprehend, what he has sent ahead and what he has held back [in this world]. 5 O man, what seduced you from your munificent Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 He moulded you into whatever shape He willed. 8 Yet you deny the Last Judgement. 9 And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers, 10 noble scribes 11 They know all that you do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and from it they shall never be absent. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
