▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, and by the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 Lo! this is one of the greatest (portents) 35 a warning to mortal man 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Except those of the right hand 39 who will be in Paradise 40 Of evil-doers: 41 What hath brought you to this burning? 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 until death approached us". 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So whoever wills may heed advice from it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
