Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 storming tempestuously 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely that which ye are promised will befall. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 The Messengers will receive their appointments. 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 How will you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 The living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If now you have any strategy, use it against Me. 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
