The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 And by the Night when it is still,- 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you nor does He dislike you! 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 Verily your Lord will soon give you so amply that you will be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 Therefore do not treat the orphan with harshness, 9 And as to the beggar, chide thou him not. 10 And abundantly proclaim the favours of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
