Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 And We removed from you your burden 2 Which had weighed upon your back 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 Surely with hardship there is ease. 5 verily, with every hardship comes ease! 6 So when thou art relieved, still toil 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
