Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say "O my Lord! I seek refuge with Thee from the suggestions of the Evil Ones. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured). 104 "Were not My messages read out to you? But you denied them." 105 'Lord' they will reply, 'adversity prevailed over us and we were erring. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He shall say: slink away there unto, and speak not unto Me. 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Deem ye that We have created you in vain and that unto Us ye are not to be returned? 115 Therefore exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: there is no god but He, the Lord of the Throne of Honour! 116 He who crieth unto any other god along with Allah hath no proof thereof. His reckoning is only with his Lord. Lo! disbelievers will not be successful. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of the merciful' 118
