Blessed be He who has set the constellations in the heaven, and set amongst them a sun, and an illuminating moon. 61 And it is He Who created the alternation of the night and day for one who wishes to remember or intends to give thanks. 62 Devotees of Ar-Rahman are those who walk with humility on the earth, and when they are addressed by the ignorant, say: 'Peace;" 63 Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing; 64 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish; 65 Indeed it is a most wretched abode. 66 And those who when they expend, are neither extravagant nor sparing, and it is a medium in-between. 67 who do not invoke any god but Allah nor kill a soul, which Allah has forbidden, unjustly, nor commit adultery. -He who does this shall be punished for his sin, 68 he shall have his suffering doubled on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide forever in disgrace, 69 But only those who repent and believe and act righteously will have their sins replaced by virtue; God is All-forgiving and All-merciful. 70 And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. 71 And those who do not give false testimony, and when they pass near some indecency, they pass by it saving their honour. 72 who, when they are reminded of the signs of their Lord, fall not down thereat deaf and blind; 73 And who say: Our Lord! Vouchsafe us comfort of our wives and of our offspring, and make us patterns for (all) those who ward off (evil). 74 Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect. 75 And abide there for ever: What an excellent destination and abode! 76 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “You have no value before My Lord if you do not worship Him; so you have denied – therefore the punishment that remains, will occur.” 77
